5 Best Homemade Honey Masks For a Perfect Skin

    Hello lovely ladies.
Who knew that the honey that's sitting in our kitchen can be the best resource to fight skin problems and dry skin ? Cleopatra knew that, because she used the take baths filled with it and I think the lady was onto something. Let's find out more about this wonder product and its benefits for the skin.

Why should you consider putting honey on your face ? Here are a few reasons :
- Honey is naturally antibacterial, so it's great for acne treatment and prevention.
- It's  full of antioxidants, it is great for slowing down aging.
- It is extremely moisturizing and soothing, so it helps create a glow.
Honey is clarifying because it opens up pores making them easy to unclog.
It soaks up impurities and helps detoxify your skin.
Because of all these wonderful benefits, honey mask recipes have been used with succes for generations. Today, I will share with you my favorite facial honey mask recipes.

1. Raw honey mask
Apply a thin layer of raw honey to slightly damp skin using a circular motion. Leave the honey for at least 30 minutes and then gently rinse it off with warm water.
2. Oats and honey mask
For this recipe you need : 3 tbs of finely chopped oats, 2 tbs of honey and a little warm milk. Mix these ingredients till you will make a smooth paste. Put it on your face and let it sit for 20 minutes. Wash the face with warm water and enjoy the wonderful result.
3. Honey and banana mask
The banana is a great ally of the skin, because of the richness of potassium, beta-carotene and vitamins of group B.
Mash up a ripe banana till it looks like baby food. Add 2 tbs of honey and mix it well. Apply it on your face and let it sit for 20 min. Wash the face with warm water.
4. Honey and yogurt mask
The honey and yogurt face mask helps to hydrate and nourish the skin and give the skin a radiant and luminous effect, helping to close the pores and give a uniform color to our skin. Yogurt has exfoliating properties, it helps to close the pores and stimulates the production of collagen.
You can add in this mask other ingredients too : olive oil ( for the dry/sensitive skin types ) banana ( if you want it to b extra nourishing ).
I usually put one tbs of yogurt and 2 tbs of honey. Mix them together and apply it on my face for 20 min. I rinse it off with warm water.
5. Honey and aloe vera mask
For this you need 2 tbs of honey and 1 tbs of aloe vera gel. Mix them all together and apply it on the face. After 20 min rinse it off with warm water. Aloe soothes inflammation and calms your skin, perfect for those with sensitive and irritaded skin.
These are some of my favorite face masks that include this wonder ingredient. The result after I use these masks ? Well, my face is super soft, hydrated and radiant. What more can I ask for ?
Tell me ladies, what other face masks recipes do you know ? Have you tried any of the recipesmentioned above ?

    Good night and sweet dreams!
