Swatch Monday : KIKO Cupcake Polishes

   Hello my lovely friends.
Tell me, do you like sweets ? How about some cupcakes ? Or, even better, how about some cupcake frosting on your nails ? It looks like the people from KIKO thought of that too and they came up with the sweetest polishes ever. If you don't believe me, just read on and discover two lovely shades from the Cupcake Collection.

I discovered these lovely polishes in my short trip to France and from all the shades that were available, the ones that I really liked were 651 Strawberry & 655 Mint. Since sand polishes are among my favorite ones, you can understand why I wanted to have these two beauties in my collection.
651 Strawberry - This color reminds me of a strawberry milkshake. It's a gorgeous creamy pink shade with red and blue speckles.

655 Mint is a gorgeous cream mint shade with orange and blue speckles.

I found that the Cupcake collection has a different texture comparing to the other sand polishes from KIKO. I think these ones are a bit more chunky and they do feel that way after they dry also. For a perfect coverage you will need to apply two layers of polish. The drying time is normal, nothing special about that. They last on my nails around 4 days without chipping. After that I noticed that on the edges the began to chip a little.
Overall, I think these polishes are a great buy and I am sorry that I did not buy more shades to try out. The colors are gorgeous and perfect for summer.
What do you think of these polishes ? What other polishes from the Cupcake Collection draw your attention?
Till next time, take care and don't forget to smile !
