U.S.A Collective Haul
2 Oct 2014
Hello lovelies ! I know you like the haul posts very much and that is why I decided to show you my latest shopping spree. Before I start I have to mention that I bought all these products in a few months ( around 3 ) and not all at once. One of my biggest desires in this life is to see America. I've been dreaming of this since I was a little girl and the dream is still present now, when I'm 30 ( can't believe I've told you that ). Since I am a woman and I love shopping, I could not resist in front of the huge offers that can be found in the shops there and thanks to my good friend Elisa ( Little Beauty Bag ) now I am the proud owner of some american goodies of which last year I was only dreaming. Let's see what I've bought :)
Initially I had in plan buying some Victoria's Secret body lotions but I've read some bad reviews about them online and that is why I decided to go for Bath & Body Works products instead. My luck was that when I bought them there was a huge summer sale on the site and I could buy more for less. Although I heard many good things about their scented candles, this time I decided to try out some shower gels, body lotions, hand soaps and of course the cute little hand sanitizers. Oh, I also bought myself a hand cream, to see how it is. Of course, I've begun to use them already and right now I'm gathering more info so I can review them for you soon.
Of course, Elisa couldn't help herself and sended me some other goodies to try out. The Rituals set is too cute for words and the EOS lip balm is something that I've wanted to try out and I'm happy that now I can finally do it, all thanks to my dear friend. Love you girl :*
Another brand that I was keen on trying out is St. Ives. I read on many beauty blogs about the Timeless Skin face cream and how good it is, so I knew I had to try it out myself. I bought it in a 2 pack because it was cheaper and hey, it's always better to have a backup. I also chose a spray body lotion with coconut & orchid extract.
Now, we enter the nails section and we talk about Sally Hansen. I'm using her cuticle gel for almost 2 years and of course, I had to redo the stock. Besides the normal cuticle gel, I also chose a Problem Cuticle Remover and I'm very excited to try it out and see what it can do. Soon, I will make a comparison between the 2 products and tell you which is best .
We can't talk about nails and not mention nail polish, right ? Well, let me tell you that in the beginning, I had no intention of buying any nail polish from America. That is till I saw what holographic beauties the indie brands from across the ocean had to offer. With that being said, I got my hands on some pretty awesome Colors by Llarowe shades, KB Shimmer, I Love Nail Polish, Lilypad Lacquer & Starrilly. Should I mention that I can't wait to use them ?
Last but not least, the makeup products. It happened that I found on Hautelook a very good offer at The Balm products and I just couldn't stay away. I chose the Voyage palette and an eyelid primer that I can't wait to try out. Another palette that caught my attention was Revealed 2 from Coastal Scents. It's a dupe after the famous Naked 3 and I really want to make a comparison between the 2 and see which one is best.
I can't describe you the joy I felt when the postman brought me this package. It was like I was living, my birthday & Christmas early. Even now, I have moments when I stare at all these products and I can't believe they're mine. You can expect a lot of reviews and comparisons on the blog in the future, these babies gave me a lot of future posts ideas. If you would like more info about a certain product or you would like me to do a review, don't forget to leave me a comment and I'll make sure you'll have it on the blog in no time.
Don't forget to share this post with your friends if you liked it, I would really appreciate that !
Till next time, take care and don't forget to smile !
