As you can see, Laura’s Corner looks changed (again) and this time for good. I finally found a theme that suits me best and I’m so happy that I decided to go for it. It’s fresh, colorful and clean, so I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
Today it was also a perfect day for swatches, the sun shined and what do I do every time the sun shines? Yeah, you got it, I swatch holographic polishes because I want you to see them exactly how they are, like true jewels. This time, I chose another beauty from Colors by Llarowe, the one and only Look At Me, I’m Sandra Dee, a gorgeous polish that just screams for attention.
This beauty is part of the Spring 2014 collection. It is a clear based polish with loads of holo micro glitter and small pink & red glitters. To obtain a perfect coverage you will need to apply a base (I usually use a ridge filler from Kiko or P2 Cosmetics) and 2 to 3 thin coats of polish. For the swatches that you are about to see, I used only 2 coats and it was more than enough. Because this polish contains a lot of glitter, you will need to apply 1 or 2 coats of top coat, just to give it that extra shine and take the rough feeling that the glitter gives. Here are some swatches.
I have to tell you that I fell in love with this one. I have so many manicure ideas using this polish, especially for Christmas, can’t wait to show you 🙂
Now, tell me, what do you think of this beauty? Isn’t it just awesome?
