Swatch Monday: Colour Alike Holo Nail Polish

    Hello my lovely friends!
Long time, no see. Well, to make it up to you, I will show you in today’s Swatch Monday, not one polish but 5! Yeah, you see well, today you are about to discover 5 beauties that entered my collection last week. I’m talking about a new brand of polish (at least to me, it’s new) called Colors Alike.

You are probably wondering how did I find this brand. Well, I saw a swatch in a Facebook group and when I searched Google for more info I ended up on their site where they also happen to have a Black Friday sale. Normally, one Colors Alike polish costs 3,50 euro and I bought them with 40% off, so call that a good bargain. From the information I read on the site, I understood that Color Alike come from Poland and they are 5 free (always a good news). Shipping was friendly, so if you like special polishes (Holo, duochrome) you might want to check them out. But now, enough talk, let me show you the polishes that I picked from the site.

Colour Alike – 500 is a gorgeous brown/black holo. I think this one has the strongest holo effect from all of the polishes that I bought. The formula is pretty good, not too thin and not too thick. The application is perfect and since this polish is pretty opaque, one coat of polish will ensure a good coverage. From the swatches that I saw on the Internet, I have to say that this polish can be a perfect dupe after the gorgeous OPI – My Private Jet.

Colour Alike – 503 is the perfect raspberry color. It has a very strong linear effect and it’s simply breathtaking. Like the previous polish, this one has also a good formula and it’s easy to apply. It covers perfectly with only one coat, but for these swatches I applied 2 coats. I also want to mention that this polish is the perfect dupe after Zoya Blaze. I have Zoya too, so I could compare the two up close.

Colours Alike – 510 is a dusty pink holo. This one doesn’t have such a strong holo effect, but it’s still a pretty awesome polish. The formula is also kind of thin, but I managed to get full opacity after only 2 coats.

Colour Alike – 511 is a soft purple shade that is perfect for spring and summer. The holo effect is subtle.

Colour Alike – 534 is a brown holo that gave me a hard time. The formula is very thin at this one and to achieve full opacity you need to apply 3 coats of polish. The final color is pretty but due to its bad formula I am having some doubts about this one.

In the end, I can say that I’m pretty happy that I added these beauties to my collection. They are very beautiful and for the price, they’re so worth it!
What do you think of these polishes? Would you give them a try?
