The Balm- Balm Voyage Palette Swatch & Review

Hello my lovely friends.
I'm pretty sure you've all heard of The Balm cosmetics till now. I mean, who didn't? They are known to offer great quality products with an awesome packaging. From all the palettes available, I decided to go for Balm Voyage because it offers a bigger range of colors (16 eyeshadows) and it also has 3 lipsticks to choose from.

Everything that has to do with this palette makes you want to think that you are about to start a new and excited journey and the palette is your ticket in. The packaging of this palette is very interesting. It's a cardboard flip open palette with two individual flip covers, one for the eyeshadow and one for the lipsticks. I think that's a pretty smart thing to do because that way, you can be sure that the fallout from the eyeshadow won't get into the lipstick. Since the theme of this palette is travelling, the inside of the flip cover looks like a passport and if you look at yourself in the mirror, you will be the one who's going in a glam trip thanks to these shadows.

All the eyeshadows are named after the seats of an airplane  and the 3 lipsticks are named Captain, First Officer and Second Officer. The texture of the eyeshadows is very soft (creamy like). They have a good pigmentation, but if you are the type that likes a more intense color, you can easily build them until you have the desired look. They do have some fall out, but I haven't used an eyeshadow without fall out till now, so for me it's ok. The lipsticks are very pigmented, unfortunately I am more for the nude colors and because of that I did not use them much.

The eyeshadows in this palette are a generous size so you don't have to worry that you will hit the pan pretty soon. Since the main theme of it is traveling, it's a pretty handy palette to add to your luggage when you decide to go on vacation, just remember that you have 16 eyeshadows to create a multitude of looks with and lipticks to match your makeup. What more could you ask for?
Overall, I am pretty happy with my purchase and I'm looking forward to trying other The Balm products in future, this was just the beginning :)
