Hello, my lovely friends!
I don't know about you, but I am in a continuous search for the PERFECT foundation. Don't get me wrong, I do have my favorite ones, that I use daily, but a new one can never hurt, right?
This was the case with the new L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion foundation. I saw it a lot on social media, heard a lot about it and when I got the chance, I bought it to see or myself what this baby can do. If I like it or not, it's up for you to discover. Enjoy! This is the first cushion foundation that I tried and I have to say, I was quite intrigued by this idea. I know that the concept is not new on the market, but until L'Oreal came out with this one, I was not so eager to try one.
In other words, Nude Magique Cushion is a sponge cushion drenched in liquid foundation. I love the chic packaging, I think it looks very nice and feminine and it's also very handy, thanks to the big mirror that it has inside. It's very simple to use it, you just press the applicator into the cushion and then gently tap the foundation into the skin.
This foundation is available in 7 shades and offers a fresh luminous finish. I have to say that I had a hard time deciding which shade is best for me, but in the end, it all worked out for the best.
L'Oreal Nude Cushion has a very sheer coverage, but you can build it up. I usually apply two layers of foundation and I am more than happy with the results. It covers most of my imperfections, evens my skin tone and makes the pores less noticeable. I love the dewy finish that it offers and that fact that you can layer it up without the fear that it will look too cakey, makes it a winner in my eyes.
I wash the applicator after every use with some lukewarm water and soap.
Would I repurchase it?
My only reservation is the fact that this foundation doesn't have a lot of product inside and it won't last as much as a regular bottle of foundation will. Besides that, I think it's a great product and I plan to repurchase it again after I finish this one.
