You know that feeling when you want something so bad and you know that you can't have it? I do! I knew I wanted the ABH - Master Palette by Mario from the first time that I saw it on Instagram. Those awesome shades, that great pigmentation, who wouldn't want that? Well, I could not buy it, but I was lucky enough to receive one from my best friend and partner in crime, Elisa.
This girl, who I love very much, made me a surprise that I will never forget. She sent me the most awesome gift that I could wish for, a Michael Kors bag (because she knew that I wanted one) and guess what I found inside that bag. The Master Palette by Mario and the Modern Renaissance palette!! How cool is that, right? I will never have enough words to thank you, Elisa, you are the most awesome person that I know, thank you!! You can imagine that I tried this beauty right away and today I'm going to make a small review for you guys and show you some swatches. Enjoy!
The Master Palette by Mario comes in a black and gold box. You can find all the information about the palette on the back. The palette itself is made of cardboard with a magnetic closure. Inside you can find a double-sided brush, a big mirror and the most beautiful 12 neutral shades that I've ever seen!
As I mentioned before, the palette includes 12 gorgeous neutral shades, 3 matte and 9 satin/metallic shades:
- Hollywood - metallic wheat gold with a satin finish
- NYC - rich chocolate brown with a satin finish
- Kim - tan with a satin finish
- Muse - rose gold with a satin finish
- Marina - champagne with a metallic finish
- Claudia - slate with a velvet finish
- Lula - soft taupe with an ultra-matte finish
- Isabel - burnt orange with an ultra-matte finish
- Violeta - dark chocolate with an ultra-matte finish
- 5th Ave - gold leaf with a metallic finish
- Bronx - metallic olive with a satin finish
- Paris - gilded brown with a satin finish
The shadows are super creamy and very pigmented. I expected this palette to rise up to my expectations, but it went beyond them! They apply like a dream, blend really well and the colour payoff is excellent. The downside is that they do have a little fallout, but that doesn't bother me so much.
Overall, I really think this palette is a dream and that it needs to be in every girl's collection.
Although I knew it was a limited edition palette, I did not expect it to be gone from the stores so fast. I also heard that there won't be any more restocks for this baby, so I can only hope that you've got your hands on one before they sold out.
What do you think about this palette? Did you manage to get your hands on one?
