Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water Review

I think it's not a secret to anyone that I am a big fan of micellar water. I've discovered this water in 2012 and I haven't stopped using it ever since. Of course, back then there were only 2 brands that I knew of, on the market, Bioderma and Yves Rocher. Nowadays, there are so many brands that came out on the market with this product, that is practically impossible to know them all.

Today, I am going to talk to you a little about one of my favourite brands, when it comes to micellar water and, to be honest, not only that, Garnier. Garnier started out with one micellar water and ended up having 4 available at the moment for different skin concerns. Cool, right? I tried 3 of these babies, but today I will talk about one, in particular, the Garnier Oil-Infused Cleansing Water.

I have to admit, I was in doubt if I should try this micellar water or not. I have combination skin and I thought that my skin will remain very greasy after I will use it. In the end, curiosity won and I bought it.

The packaging is the same packaging that Garnier has for all their micellar water, plastic bottle with a cap that allows controlled dispensing of the product.
This micellar water is targeted to people with dry or sensitive skin, but I did notice on the ingredient list alcohol and perfume, ingredients that are not quite friendly with sensitive skin and can produce irritation.

I used it for my face and for my eyes too and I have to say that it does a wonderful job in removing heavy eye makeup in seconds! It's very gentle with the sensitive eye area and it did a better job than other eye makeup removers I've used in the past. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I did not have any greasy residue on my face after I used it to remove my makeup because that was my major scare regarding this product.

Overall, I do believe that this micellar water is a great product, but I won't repurchase it for the simple fact that it has ingredients that are irritating, so I'll just stick with the original micellar water from Garnier that suits me best and that has better ingredients.
Have you tried this oil-infused micellar water? What is your opinion about it?

Until next time, take care and don't forget to smile!
