  • Belize has two seasons, a dry and a rainy season. The rainy season is between June and November. The coolest month is January and the warmest is May.
  • The official language is english, but you can also hear Spanish, Mayan, Garifuna, Creole.
  • Currency: American dollars are accepted, but the official currency is the Belizean Dollar.
  • Medical care: With a population of a little over 350,000 and with more than a half of them living in poverty, the medical care does not have enough funds to offer high-quality care. That is why is best to check your insurance and avoid the trip if your health does not allow it.
